PTI 2018/2019 Admission form

The Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into Full-time programmes in Higher National Diploma (HND), National Diploma (ND) and Certificate Programmes for the 2018/2019 Academic Session. Form sales will last from March 1st to May 31st, 2018. Late sales will last from June 1st to June 15th, 2018.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

ND candidates are to possess five (5) Ordinary Level Credit passes relevant to the choice of programme which must include English Language and Mathematics, while HND candidates must possess in addition to the above requirement, National Diploma (ND) relevant to their choice of programmes. COST OF ADMISSION FORM

Candidates applying for HND, General Welding and Commercial Diving programmes are required to pay a non-refundable fee of seven thousand, five hundred naira (N10,000.00) for each PTI admission form for 2018/2019 Academic session.
Late sales: N12,000

PROCEDURE FOR ONLINE APPLICATION

I.Candidates applying for National Diploma (ND) programmes should visit Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal: jamb.org.ng. All candidates should ensure that the procedure outlined by JAMB for processing the ND admission forms are duly followed. Candidates should also visit JAMB brochure to know the required subjects they are to write during the examination as the subjects for the examination are not the same for all the programmes.

II. Candidates offering HND, General Welding and Commercial Diving programmes should apply directly to Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) by following the steps below: 

a. Visit www.pti.edu.ng 

b. Click on “ Apply for Admission” 

c. Fill in the on-line “Sign on page” by Click on “Click Here to Sign Up” at the bottom of the page.

(Note: Write down the Username and Password for subsequent/return

 use). 

d.This will take you to the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR)

page where you generate the RRR code. 

e. Print the RRR code page and take it to any bank for payment. Make sure you keep the RRR

code print out. 

f. After the payment of N 7, 500.00 which is the cost of each admission form,

return to the PTI website ( www.pti.edu.ng ) and click on “ Return to my Application ”. 

g. Enter your UserName and Password and click

LOGIN

h. Fill in the online application form and print out the completed online application form which will be presented at the examination centre along with your RRR code print out.
